Saab Key Programming
Saab cars manufactured since 1994 feature an immobilizer system based on a set of keys. To add an additional key, you need a new transponder and special programming. This is usually done by the dealer using a special Tech2 diagnostic tool.
The issue is that this could be extremely expensive. This is why it is important to always keep a spare key in your possession.
Transponder key

Jump-starting the battery
